Welcome to Meeting Universe. This site is dedicated to helping you, the planner, plan meetings with tools found nowhere else on the net or in print. These tools will allow you to plan meetings more effectively, in less time, with better information, fewer surprises and more effectiveness than any other collection of tools.

Meeting Universe's tools are unique in the industry but what makes them truly special is that the information found in these tools is derived entirely from you and your peer planners.

The hotel ratings found in HotFire Ratings, the information and topics on the User Forums, and the ratings given to listings in our Preferred Supplier Database all come directly from planners just like you. Some of the tools such as the supplier database and the hotels are currently being filled as we speak. The progress of these tools will be updated and sent to you via our newsletter.


Preferred Supplier Database

Our Yellow Page-like directory will not only be the most comprehensive and up-to-date available to planners, but the only directory that allows you to rate the listings. As such it is much more than a directory, it is a preferred supplier database.

Furthermore, significant lapses in performance by any company listed in the database will result in the removal of the listing thus ensuring the integrity of the database.


User Forums

Do you have a question about our site, our philosophy, or raison d'etre? Perhaps you would like to share a great experience or a horrible experience with a location/vendor. This user forum is yours to express yourself, share, learn, and inquire.


Hotel Ratings

The only rating system for hotels developed in conjunction with meeting planners. Using criteria developed by these planners and hospitality experts each hotel is then rated by surveying at least 10 planners per property. This method gives a much better gauge compared to traditional rating methods on how a property performs under stress with a meeting in house.
